La Fondation Gresol a voulu reconnaître le parcours professionnel d’Esther Giménez-Salinas et le fait qu’elle soit la première femme à diriger l’institution du Síndic de Greuges.

Esther Giménez-Salinas, Síndica de Greuges, a reçu le Prix Illustre Catalan de la Fondation Gresol, une organisation qui promeut le talent entrepreneurial, le leadership et le progrès. Il s’agit de l’une des dix catégories pour lesquelles il est possible de poser sa candidature.

La cérémonie de remise de la 16e édition de ces prix, qui s’est déroulée au Tecnoparc de Reus, visait à récompenser l’administratrice pour sa longue participation et son dévouement au progrès des citoyens de Catalogne, ainsi que pour sa qualité de personnalité du monde juridique. Ce prix vise également à souligner le fait qu’elle a été la première Ombudsman de Catalogne.

Lors de son discours, Mme Giménez-Salinas a exprimé sa gratitude pour ce prix et a déclaré qu’il s’agissait également d’une reconnaissance de l’institution qu’elle dirige et des personnes qui en font partie, qui s’efforcent chaque jour de trouver des solutions aux problèmes des personnes, en particulier les plus vulnérables.

Elle a également déclaré que le fait d’être la première femme médiatrice est une occasion de transmettre la culture féminine à l’institution, mais aussi aux administrations. Dans ce sens, Mme Giménez-Salinas a affirmé à plusieurs reprises qu’il fallait des institutions plus conviviales, moins verticales et avec des valeurs plus féminines, telles que l’écoute, la médiation et l’attention portée aux relations personnelles. Enfin, elle a tenu à faire une mention spéciale pour toutes les femmes qui n’ont jamais reçu de prix mais qui « ont été essentielles pour que des personnes comme moi puissent recevoir cette reconnaissance aujourd’hui ».
